Hrvatska zastava za Dan Državnosti u Vancouveru

Dear Mayor Ken Sim and Members of City Council,

I am writing to you today on behalf of the Canadian-Croatian community in British Columbia to formally  request the raising of the Croatian national flag at Vancouver City Hall on May 30th, 2026, in honor of Croatia Statehood Day (Dan državnosti).

As you may know, the Government of British Columbia has officially proclaimed May 30th as Croatia Statehood Day. This historic proclamation recognizes the rich history, sovereignty, and cultural heritage of Croatia. More  importantly, it honors the profound contributions that generations of Croatian-Canadians have made to the social, cultural, and economic fabric of Vancouver and the wider province.

The Croatian community in Vancouver has a long and proud history of integration, hard work, and community building. Raising the Croatian flag at City Hall on this significant day would be a deeply meaningful gesture of recognition and inclusion for thousands of Croatian-Canadians who call Vancouver home. It would also serve as a beautiful celebration of our city’s rich multicultural identity.

Furthermore, our community has shown its deep commitment to strengthening ties between our nations through the successful completion and dedication of the  Embassy building , in Ottawa a project driven by the generosity and hard work of Croatian-Canadians.

We would be deeply honored if the City of Vancouver would join us in celebrating this historic occasion by flying the Croatian flag on May 30th.

Hrvatske Svjetske Igre 2027. godine Mostar

Hrvatske svjetske igre

Hrvatske svjetske igre, koje organizira Hrvatski svjetski kongres, održat će se u Mostaru od 27. do 31. srpnja 2027. godine. Ako planirate godišnji odmor, ovo je izvrsna prilika da sudjelujete u ovom jedinstvenom sportskom i kulturnom događaju koji okuplja Hrvate iz cijeloga svijeta.

Ovo su 6. Hrvatske svjetske igre. Prethodne igre uspješno su održane u Zagrebu, Zadru i Vukovaru.

Hrvatske svjetske igre (HSI) u Mostaru 2027. godine

Poziv svim Hrvatima u Kanadi i širom svijeta!

Hrvatski svjetski kongres s ponosom najavljuje Hrvatske svjetske igre (HSI) koje će se održati u Mostaru od 27. do 31. srpnja 2027.
Ovo su šeste Igre po redu, a posljednje su održane u Zagrebu uz tisuće sudionika iz cijelog svijeta.

HSI su naš hrvatski „mini olimpijski susret“ — mjesto gdje se okupljaju Hrvati iz Australije, Kanade, SAD‑a, Južne Amerike i Europe.
Sudjelovati mogu mladi i stariji, a sportovi uključuju: atletiku, nogomet, boćanje, košarku, odbojku, stolni tenis i mnoge druge.

Ako već planirate godišnji odmor za 2027., ovo je idealna prilika da ga provedete u domovini i postanete dio hrvatskog zajedništva.
