Re: Independence Day of the Republic of Croatia – May 30^th

      Request for raising the Flag of the Republic of Croatia

Dear Mr. Sim,

We sincerely ask the City of Vancouver to fly the official Flag of the Republic of Croatia for a one week from Friday, May 26^th, 2023, to Saturday, June 3^rd2023. Since the City of Vancouver is home to a large and growing number of Canadians of Croatian heritage, we would welcome this sign of good will towards us and our former homeland.

On behalf of the Canadian-Croatian Congress we would like to express our sincere appreciation in allowing the Flag of the Republic of Croatia to be raised in the past years from the City of Vancouver on this very special occasion “Croatia Day – May 30^th“.
